There's no doubt that the coronavirus pandemic in the past year has sent the housing market on a wild ride.
While the number of homes sold in the past month is about 25 percent higher than a year ago, many people decided to hold off on selling their home a year ago as quarantine restrictions were starting.
It's still a seller's market in many ways — most homes are receiving multiple offers and the number of homes for sale is still quite a bit lower than the demand.
