The Parker Gray neighborhood is one of Alexandria's most unique and historic areas.
Christine Sennott, a Realtor who is a Parker Gray resident and currently renovating a home there, notes that property values in the neighborhood are up significantly from a year ago.
Detached homes sold for an average of $845,633 in the first half of 2018. Townhomes sold at an average price of $692,139, and condos sold for an average price of $490,233.
The overall average price in the community was $647,296.
