Less than two years after purchasing Alexandria's most expensive home ever, Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder may be considering selling it.
Snyder is in the process of selling the Washington Commanders NFL team, but several news organizations have reported that the Snyders are no longer living in the home they bought in late 2021 for $48 million.
The home, in the 7900 block of East Boulevard Drive, is on 16.5 acres along the Potomac River is just southwest of River Farm, the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society.
The home features 7 bedrooms, 8 full and 7 half baths, and features like a gym with river views, a spa, steam room, home theater and a variety of smart home features.
While the listing would be the priciest home in Alexandria by far, there are other high-priced listings on the market now in the Alexandria area.
Public listings for expensive homes include:
210 Duke St., the historic former residence and medical office of George Washington's personal physician, Dr. James Craik. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. $4,985,000.
119 Wolfe St., 6 bedrooms, 4 full plus 2 half baths, $4,700,000 million.
