A new restaurant inspired by Italy's Amalfi Coast opened last week at MGM National Harbor.
Osteria Costa replaces Marcus, located in the atrium just across from The Theater at the casino resort, across the river from Alexandria.
On the menu: Pizzas baked in wood-fired ovens, handmade pasta and seafood, all served up in a casually elegant atmosphere.
You can sit inside the restaurant with a view of the open kitchen or "outside" on the patio area where you'll have a front-row seat to The Conservatory and its holiday decor.
The eatery, helmed by executive chef Beau Williams, a graduate of the California Culinary Academy, is open for dinner Wednesdays through Sundays from 5-10 p.m.
The restaurant has a sister property at MGM's The Mirage in Las Vegas.
An opening night party featured a DJ and violinist; guests sampled items from the menu including grilled swordfish on skewers, mini lasagnas and bite-size pizzas.
Reservations are available through Open Table.
