Bonchon Chicken recently opened its newest local restaurant at the Shops at Bradlee Center in Alexandria.
The new restaurant is adjacent to the recently-opened &pizza facing King Street.
Bonchon Chicken started in South Korea in 2002, and its name means hometown. The chicken is hand battered, double fried and covered in sauce, giving the chicken a crunchy exterior and tender meat.
Bonchon Chicken also a restaurant at 6852 Richmond Hwy. (The Beacon at Groveton), in addition to restaurants in Springfield, Annandale and Arlington. This is the first restaurant in the city of Alexandria.
The Bradlee Center is also welcoming other new businesses this year, including Beeliner Diner (which Bun Papa is operating out of now) and Restore Hyper Wellness.
