Visit your favorite historic Alexandria museums for Museum Store Sunday, the day after Small Business Saturday, for unique and historically inspired gifts with special offers, seasonal refreshments and more. A dozen Alexandria-area museums are participating.
The historic Lee-Fendall House is featured on this year’s Alexandria ornament. The estate at 614 Oronoco St. was built in 1785, and it was home to the Lee family, the Downham family, labor leader John L. Lewis and others.
The ornament can be purchased at the Lee-Fendall House shop (614 Oronoco Street, www.leefendallhouse.org,), along with handcrafted items.
Lee-Fendall House is open 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon. It is also open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
