Spring2ACTion is here! April 10th is the day we come together to give - spreading generosity in the community where we live, work and play. Our goal is to raise $2 million dollars for our community to make Alexandria a more vibrant place for everyone. We have a bold goal of engaging 10,000 individuals to give – will you join us?
What is Spring2ACTion?
It is Alexandria’s Giving Day and our community’s call to action. Spring2ACTion is an annual online giving event that celebrates generosity and strengths the local nonprofits that support our city.
How can I support Alexandria’s Giving Day?
- Make a donation online at www.Spring2ACTion.org. Early giving has begun so you can make your gift today. Give early and often!
- Eat your way through Alexandria - more details and a cumulative list of events can be found here.
- Swing by the McEnearney Donor Lounges in Old Town and Del Ray or ALX Cmmunity and grab a Suth Block smoothie.
- Pick up your free donut from Sugar Shack by showing proof of donation
- Enjoy a burger at Holy Cow for lunch and designate your quarter to your favorite nonprofit – they have a chance to win $500!
- Save room for dinner at one of the many spots giving back a percentage of sales, from Alexandria Restaurant Partners, Dishes of India, Pork Barrel BBQ, the sushi bar, and Sweet Fire Donna’s
- Shop for good by visiting Comfort One, Penny Post, Red Barn Mercantile, or the Shoe Hive – more details and a cumulative list of events can be found here.
