History buffs, vintage fashion fans, newlyweds or about to be engaged? You are in for a sweet post-Valentine’s Day treat on Saturday, Feb. 16 at "Something Old, Something New" at River Farm in Alexandria.
Monte Durham, the star of TLC’s "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta," will be at River Farm to show off and talk about some special vintage wedding dresses hand-picked from his own private collection.
Among the dresses on display will be Durham’s one-of-a-kind replica of the wedding gown Jacqueline Lee Bouvier wore when she married Sen. John F. Kennedy on Sept. 12, 1953. Durham's most vintage gown will sweep attendees off their feet and back into the roaring 1920s. While meeting and mingling with Durham, show attendees will enjoy finger food bites, a hot and cold beverage station, and a champagne toast courtesy of Main Event Caterers of Arlington.
