YOU will have the opportunity to get free coffee or tea when you come into ESP Tea & Coffee and make a donation to Volunteer Alexandria on Spring2ACTion day, April 28!
Spring2ACTion is Alexandria's Day of Giving, when Alexandria's community foundation (ACT for Alexandria) encourages all residents to make a donation to their favorite nonprofit organization. Early giving is open now leading up to the April 28 event.
ESP Tea & Coffee and Alexandria Living are supporting Volunteer Alexandria for this year's Spring2ACTion.
Volunteer Alexandria is a local organization that fosters connections between willing volunteers and the nonprofit organizations that need assistance.
Here's how it works:
1. Starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, Alexandria Living Magazine will buy coffee or tea (up to $5) for the first 25 people who come to ESP Tea & Coffee and make a donation to Volunteer Alexandria.
If you can't make it on Wednesday, you can still donate here.
ESP Tea & Coffee is at 1012 King St. in Old Town Alexandria.
All you have to do is stop by the Volunteer Alexandria table at ESP Tea & Coffee starting at 8 a.m. and, once there, make a donation to Volunteer Alexandria from your mobile device.
2. EVERYONE who donates to Volunteer Alexandria while they are at ESP Tea & Coffee on Wednesday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to noon will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to ESP Tea & Coffee (courtesy of Alexandria Living Magazine).
3. In addition, ESP Tea & Coffee will be donating a portion of its revenues ALL DAY on Wednesday, April 28, to local nonprofit organizations.
What is Spring2ACTion?
Spring2ACTion is Alexandria's "Day of Giving"!
On Wednesday, April 28, all Alexandria residents are asked to donate to their favorite local nonprofit organization online through Spring2ACTion.org.
Spring2ACTion is an initiative organized by ACT for Alexandria, a community foundation that supports more than 100 nonprofit organizations throughout Alexandria. Last year, Spring2ACTion raised more than $2.45 million for local nonprofits.
