Volunteer Alexandria
Volunteer Alexandria's Spring for Alexandria Community Service Day is set for May 17.
Volunteer Alexandria is helping nonprofits and City of Alexandria agencies improve lives with a concentrated day of giving back to the community.
The organization is encouraging both individuals( ages 21 and older) and groups to sign up to spend a few hours in your community painting, planting and mulching, sorting food and clothing, decorating homes and more.
Local businesses are donating prizes, which will be given at an after party at Industrious Office, including cocktail mixes from Belle Isle Moonshine, hotel stays, beer and wine tastings, gift cards, etc.
