The King Street Art Festival is getting a new name and a new home this year.
For 2020, the juried art show that draws thousands of attendees is moving to the Carlyle neighborhood and will be called the Old Town Alexandria Art Festival.
The art festival, produced by Howard Alan Events, is Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12 and 13. The art festival is entering its 18th year.
Due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, attendees will need to register in advance for the event for timed tickets through Eventbrite. A limited number of tickets are available.
Attendees and artists will need to wear masks to attend this outdoor event.
