George Washington Birthday Parade
Annual parade in Old Town Alexandria celebrates George Washington.
Alexandria’s parade to celebrate the birth of our first president, George Washington, is back this year.
The organizing committee is signing up groups to participate in the parade and is working on other events like the annual Cherry Challenge. Depending on weather, the parade is anticipated to take place on Feb. 21.
