NOTE: While the event itself is not open to the public, local residents can vote on the gingerbread houses through Facebook. Follow the Federal Conference on Facebook to vote later this week!
-----
The Federal Conference in partnership with Visit Alexandria is hosting a Gingerbread House Contest!
The event will benefit Carpenter's Shelter, a local shelter that serves more than 600 homeless and formerly homeless children and adults each year.
The goal of the evening is to bring teams together to raise funds and awareness for Carpenter's Shelter. All donations and proceeds will go toward the shelter; donations of $100 are encouraged but are not required.
Once the event is over, pictures will be taken and posted on social media for public voting.
Voting will end Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. (ET), and the team with the most “likes” will win the Grand Prize!
If you have questions or would like to attend, please contact Phil Saims of Federal Conference at phil@nationalconference.com.
