Art on the Avenue is returning to the streets of Del Ray on Saturday, Nov. 12. The event draws thousands of people and is the neighborhood's busiest days for local restaurants and businesses.
Art on the Avenue was postponed due to weather in October (the remnants of Hurricane Ian). It was only the second time in its 27-year history that weather postponed the event.
Art on the Avenue draws hundreds of artists every year, shutting down Mount Vernon Avenue through most of Del Ray. Tens of thousands of people attend the event.
Last year, the weather was perfect but a power outage hit the Del Ray neighborhood, hobbling restaurants.
