The Potomack Company auction house, located at 1120 N. Fairfax St., in Alexandria will host an Appraisal Day Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to benefit the American Indian Medical Scholarship (AIMS) fund.
The public is invited to bring along art, jewelry, antiques, documents and Native American objects for Potomack’s specialist team, which includes special guest Linda Dyer, Potomack consulting specialist in Native American, Inuit and American West. Linda is the Native American specialist on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow.
A minimum donation of $25 to the AIMS fund will benefit medical education for Native Americans. Please email Kira Greene to reserve a Jan. 17 appointment.
