Looking for an excuse to take a day trip this weekend? Head to Wheatland Spring Brewery in Loudoun County for their opening Friday, featuring 5 brewed in house beers and catering from some of Loudoun favorites.
This new farm brewery/Biergarten is the first Virginia Community Supported Farm Brewery and one of very few in the country.
Coming soon, Wheatland Spring is currently farming 18 acres of their own wheat and yeasts harvested on site in order to create their own estate beer that could only be made in this place. They also offer memberships to customers to help cover the high upfront costs of their farming efforts and participate in the beer community. More at wheatlandspring.com
