Nov 26 and 27 have become known Cyber Monday and Travel Deal Tuesday for the numerous travel bargains that are available just in time for holiday shopping. Experience gifting is the latest trend to take off, and here is a sample of what can be found during these days.
Amtrak
Starting Friday, Nov. 23, through Monday, Nov. 26 (Cyber Monday), customers can receive 30 percent discounts, including the Acela train, for nationwide travel between Jan. 7 and April 30, with no blackout dates. The sale is available at Amtrak.com, and all prices will be automatically discounted from the standard fare price. No discount code is needed. Example fares:

Airfare
According to Hopper.com and their app which predicts and monitors flight and hotel prices and sends users deal notifications, the company sent over 1.1 million notifications on Travel Deal Tuesday last year. The volume of fare sales was more than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined. This looks to continue this week with airlines such as Icelandair, Cathay Pacific, South African Airways, and Philippine Airlines already confirming they'll be participating in Travel Deal Tuesday this year.
Based on Hopper's historic flight data, the company is also predicting that there will be flight deals to domestic destinations like Honolulu (27% off), Miami (36% off), Las Vegas (34% off), and New York (26% off). Additionally, Hopper is forecasting more international deals to destinations like Rio De Janeiro (32% off), Barcelona (36% off), Aruba (32% off), and London (40% off).
