As Virginia enters the third phase of Gov. Ralph Northam's "Forward Virginia" plan, allowing restaurants to significantly increase capacity for indoor seating, some residents have expressed "not being ready" to resume eating inside a restaurant with strangers.
The People's Drug has come up with a solution, allowing parties of 6 to 10 people to rent out the entire restaurant at a reasonable cost.
Starting now, the restaurant is offering private cocktail parties, dinner and brunch events for small groups.
The cost per person is $50 plus $10 gratuity and includes food and two cocktails from the creative cocktail party menu. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Virginia's entry into phase three of the coronavirus business recovery plan means that restaurants will be allowed to increase capacity, as long as guests are seated at least six feet apart.
Virginia enters phase three on July 1.
