Spring2ACTion 2019 Passes $1.5 Million Mark in Fundraising

Track donations with us as ACT for Alexandria tries to raise $2 million for local nonprofits.

Spring2ACTion, hosted by ACT for Alexandria, is Alexandria’s biggest fundraising event.

Last year, 9,438 donors raised $1,812,851 for 156 nonprofits serving Alexandria.

By 3 p.m. Wednesday, people had donated more than $1.1 million through Spring2ACTion. By 8:30 p.m., the initiative surpassed $1.5 million from nearly 8,000 donors.

This year, the goal is for 10,000 donors to raise $2 million for the 160+ organizations helping to make Alexandria a strong, vibrant community for all.
