Construction is progressing on the Shops at Bailey’s Crossroads, where Maryland restaurant chain Sardi's will open its first Virginia venue.
Sardi’s, an eat-in and carry-out restaurant with multiple locations in Maryland, is on the list of permits for the Shops at Bailey’s Crossroads.
Sardi’s originated in Beltsville, Maryland in 2008. The menu focuses on rotisserie chicken. Other items include lamb chops, steak and Peruvian dishes. (See the menu here.)
An opening date has not been set.
Several retail buildings are popping up on property that used to include a Geico Insurance agency office, a parking lot and undeveloped land. The property runs along a one-block section on the south side of Leesburg Pike between Washington Drive and Charles Street.
In addition to Sardi's, retailers at the Shops at Bailey’s Crossroads include a CVS, T-Mobile cell phone store and a Next Day Blinds.
