Joining CAVA and Five Guys in the former Don Pablo's restaurant at Potomac Yard, &pizza will be opening later this year.
The fast casual pizza chain serves up hot, made-to-order, oblong pizzas for dine-in or carry out.
The company is self-described as "an anti-establishment establishment built on the renown of its creative pies and craft beverages, localized shop design, and the strength, unity and vibe of its living-wage-paid, ampersand-tattooed Tribe."
&pizza also has locations at Reagan National Airport, the Springfield mall and in the Ballston neighborhood in Arlington. There are six locations in Virginia, and one opening soon in Tysons.
It has won several people's choice awards from Washington City Paper and won an Outside the Box Design Award for restaurant design in 2016 from Restaurant Development + Design magazine.
Tartan Properties is developing the site for the three restaurants.
