The Grateful Kitchen Co. opened its doors in the Parker Gray neighborhood as part of the Madison Collective this fall.
Formerly the Grateful Juice Co., the new counter and walk-up juice and food bar focuses on seasonal, fresh items. It is located at 727 N. Henry St. (at the corner of Madison and N. Henry streets in Old Town Alexandria).
According to the company's Facebook page, the menu includes custom juices and smoothies, as well as "a breakfast and lunch menu full of nutritionally dense and amazingly tasty options. All of the food offered will have a purpose - i.e. it will taste great, but it will also provide a resource for your body and mind."
It is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Avanti Holding's Madison Collective is also the home of Chop Shop Taco (opening soon), Marlowe Ink, Zweet Sport Total Fitness, and an event venue dubbed the Waiting Room.
