Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week is here!
The dining deals begin Jan. 26 and continue through Feb. 4 (over two weekends) with more than 60 Alexandria restaurants featuring a $35 multi-course meals. More than 30 restaurants will also offer lunch deals at $10, $15 or $20 per person in addition to the dinner specials.
The first Alexandria Restaurant Week was in January 2009 with 30 restaurants participating. Visit Alexandria decided to launch the initiative to coincide with that month's inauguration of President Barack Obama to draw visitors to Alexandria. As DC's own restaurant week expanded to include summer, so did Alexandria's event.

Visit Alexandria will be posting an online menu book in late January, and diners can make reservations through OpenTable.
