In an effort to continue to practice safe social distancing while providing our community with the support and companionship a pet can provide, the AWLA has now launched a Virtual Adoptions Process, giving adopters the chance to meet a pet online and then pick them up in person...from the comfort and safety of their vehicle.
How does it work?
1. Check out all of the currently adoptable animals on the AWLA website.
2. Fill out an Online Adoption Survey.
3. Schedule your Virtual Meet-and-Greet.
Read more about the process HERE.
Who's looking for a new family right now? (See photos below!)
- Midnight, an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever, whose second favorite thing is toys...right after snuggling with her human best friends.
- 12-year-old Annie, who boasts that she can nap anywhere, but her favorite place is a warm lap!
- And Smokey, a 3-year-old pit bull whose dapper tie belies the goofy demeanor of the pup beneath!
Check out these animals and more, and schedule your Virtual Adoption with the AWLA today. Questions? Email info@alexandriaanimals.org.
