5-year-old Jazz is one smart cookie! Most people don't think of cats when they think of clicker training, but Jazz shows that it's not only old dogs who can learn new tricks but cats too.
In just a short window at the AWLA, Jazz learned how to Sit, Lay Down, Spin and even Sit Pretty. You can watch him do all those tricks - and learn how to clicker train your own cat - in the video below.
But Jazz isn't just brains; he also enjoys the finer things in life, from yummy treats to leisurely mornings laying on, and, of course, chatting with his human friends.
Jazz has also served as an AWLA Office Catministrator and he would be happy to translate those skills to a new work-from-home set-up. He'd be especially helpful if your New Year's resolution is to remember to take some breaks and step away from the screen; Jazz is happy to be your distraction.
As part of the AWLA's Home for the Pawlidays adoption event, Jazz's adoption fees have been paid through the end of the month by Priority Automotive, so schedule time to meet him by emailing Adopt@AlexandriaAnimals.org or calling 703.746.4774 (opt. 2).
