DeSilva Studios for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria
Tank
Tank always knew he had star potential, but it took his friends at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to truly show him what that meant.
"They said my giant noggin was meant for the big screen, but in the meantime, I should at least try my luck on television," Tank recalls.
So the 3-year-old "extra large lapdog" decided to get in front of the camera. His first foray was his own talk show, Talking with Tank, where he interviewed some of Alexandria's most notable (and chewable) stuffed toys.
"I was a bit nervous, but, well, I really like chewy toys, so I gave it a go, and people ate it up (just like I eat up toys)," said Tank. Fan comments ranged from "Adorable!" to "I love Tank!" and he knew he was in business.
Next up for this emerging talent was Dancing with the Dogs, with a particularly tricky dance routine in store. He may not have nailed the moves, but he stole the show...and a lot of hearts in the process.
Tank realized there was more than just the television, though, so he tried his hand at vlogging. Once again revisiting his passion - stuffed toys - he hosted his own unboxing event to give people and pups alike his view on some of the newest stuffed toys to reach the AWLA.
While he's looking for a family of his own, Tank will continue rolling out more videos, which you can watch HERE.
"I feel like I have a duty to my fans," Tank admits. "But ultimately, the most important fans that I haven't quite been able to find yet are a family of my own."
