M'row, madames and monsieurs! Je suis Arthur, the most gentleman-ly of cats.
At one year old, I'm still a young fellow, but my polite manners will convince you that I am a worldly young lord. In fact, I came to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria with leg injuries caused by an animal attack; unfortunately the shelter I was at previously did not have the resources to help me heal, but they reached out to the AWLA, and thanks to the generosity of the Alexandria community, the AWLA were able to get me patched up and in tip-top top-hat shape! To thank them for this, I give every one of my AWLA friends the best purrs and snuggles I can each and every day. I've been told I'm quite good at it!
My AWLA chums also tell me that I have something called FeLV. It's not bothering me at all right now, though unfortunately it will mean a shorter life expectancy. I guess that just means I have to find my family even sooner, so I can enjoy being spoiled rotten, as is my feline birthright.
If you'd like to learn more about me, Arthur, the AWLA's Most Majestic Creamsicle, and my FeLV diagnosis, please contact the AWLA at adopt@alexandriaanimals.org. And if you'd like to schedule time to meet me, either in-person or virtually, visit AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment.
