Nash
3-year-old Labrador retriever mix Nash is showing his best face to the world. His goofy grin is the first thing you will see when you meet him, followed quickly by his industriously wagging tail. Nash is one happy guy!
But he's not content to rest on his looks and smile alone. Nash is working hard to put his best paw forward with his new family, and that includes picking up a few tricks that he's happy to show off. Sure, Nash has a great Sit, Shake and Lay Down, but now, he's really working hard on his Stay and even Place, a command where he returns to a specific item like a bed or mat to hang out. It makes him feel comfortable to know he has a Place dedicated just to him.
Nash is also learning Touch, which is a key cue in training even more tricks, like Spin or Follow Me. With his dedication and determination, we think he can master anything he puts his mind to. See what else Nash has been learning in the video below.
Despite his silly personality, Nash thinks of himself as a mature pup and would love to live in a house with adults or older children, who get his stately vibe. He could also be interested in living with another dog, though he'd like to meet them first, just to make sure they gel.
If you think Nash could be the perfect family member for you, learn more about how to meet him at AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment.
