What are guinea pigs best known for? Why, their unique sense of style, of course! At least that's the case for Adore, Kingston, Starlight and several of their siblings, all currently available for adoption from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
These long-haired guinea pigs especially like to express their personalities through their elaborate coiffures. Each of them has a unique set of whirls, cowlicks and tufts along with their beautiful and distinctive coloring. Ranging in age from several 4-month-old males, including Kingston and Starlight, to 1-year-old females, like Adore, none of these piggies is bonded to their siblings, but they have lived with other guinea pigs and would be open to making to friends with your resident guinea pigs or going home together in same-sex pairs. Each one has lived with humans their whole lives and can be very sociable and cuddly, once they get to know their human friends.
Some of these guinea pigs are currently available for adoption at the AWLA, and you can stop by to see them today; others are enjoying a stay in AWLA foster homes, and you can contact the AWLA to set up time to meet them by emailing Adopt@AlexandriaAnimals.org or calling 703.746.4774 (opt. 2). However you choose to connect with your new piggie pal (or two), they look forward to meeting you today!
