The owners of Bread & Water, The Bun Papa and Beeliner Diner have added a new business to their ventures — The Dog Park.
Noelie Rickey and Markos Panas bought the longtime King Street store from Anna Fitzgerald, who is retiring after nearly 13 years running the store.
Rickey has experience in both retail and pet care, having been a veterinary technician for a decade.
In a Facebook post, the new owners wrote:
"Thank you to our friend and founder of The Dog Park, Anna Fitzgerald, for allowing us to take the reigns of her beloved store. As some of you may recall, Noelie Rickey, @noelierickey who is a chef and partner in our business group, has a background in retail sales and was also a veterinary technician for over ten years. She’s looking forward to carrying on the strong tradition of solid product knowledge, outstanding service and no nonsense advice on products that Anna built the business reputation on for the past 13 years."
In a separate Facebook post, Fitzgerald (and her dogs) thanked her customers and business partners for making her business successful.
