Dirty Paw Photography for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria
9-year-old Bertha is living her best life in Alexandria. A recent transplant from Southern Virginia, she's already made new friends and fans in our City - check out this comic a local student created about her.
Bertha spent some time in a foster home, where she really came out of her shell. She quickly learned that she liked wand toys, tuna treats and head rubs...especially head rubs! She was so good at receiving head rubs that she realized she wanted to come back from her foster home to the AWLA, to instruct all the volunteers in proper head-rubbing technique. Her training skills are second to none.
In fact, Bertha is pretty fabulous and she knows it, which is why she would prefer to be your only cat - she knows no other cat could compare to her!
And best of all, Bertha's adoption fees have already been paid by a generous donor, so she's ready to go home today. Interested in scheduling time to meet with Bertha, either virtually or in-person? Visit AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment for more information.
