Able is ready, willing and, well, able to find her new family!
Able knows she's adorable, but she doesn't let that go to her head. Sure, her pointy ears are always cocked cutely, and she has the biggest smile you can find on a little dog. Her short legs, belying her basset hound lineage, keep her height low, but she knows she's just the perfect size for cuddling.
At 4 years old, Able enjoys so much about life, from fun walks to playing with a variety of toys in the yard to tasty treats, and did we mention cuddling? You know you're in Able's fan club when she rolls over to show off her beautiful belly for petting.
Able is currently available to meet in-person or virtually, so if you are interested in learning more, email Adopt@AlexandriaAnimals.org or call 703.746.4774 (opt. 2) to learn more.
Paws in the Park is This Weekend
And if you're looking for ways to help animals like Able and meet a whole lot of adorable adoptables, join the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria for Paws in the Park this Sunday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Oronoco Bay Park.
Paws in the Park celebrates animals throughout the city with a festival full of live music, dining and drink, shopping, family-friendly activities and, of course, animals. Proceeds benefit animals throughout the community - like Able - through the AWLA.
