Dr. Tammy Mann
The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce announced that Dr. Tammy Mann, President and CEO of The Campagna Center, was selected as the 2020 Business Leader of the Year.
Mann has led The Campagna Center for nine years, during which she has expanded the organization’s reach and its ability to serve less privileged children and families in our community.
The Campagna Center was founded in 1945 and serves as one of Alexandria’s leading non-profits, providing programs that enrich the lives of local children, youth and adults. These programs include head start programs for infants and toddlers, before and after school programs for school-age children and English language classes for adults, to name a few. The Campagna Center hosts a few popular fundraisers every year like the Scottish Walk Weekend, which has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
Mann has had an impressive 30-year career serving with many local, regional and national foundations and organizations that benefit children and families. She is currently serving on the Virginia State of Board of Education. Find out more about Mann on The Campagna Center website here.
