Alexandria resident Kurt Moser was honored this past weekend at Alexandria's Earth Day celebration as recipient of the 2019 Ellen Pickering Environmental Excellence Award.
Moser received the award from the Alexandria Environmental Policy Commission (EPC) and Alexandria Renew Enterprises (AlexRenew).
Moser is president and co-founder of the Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation. He also has served multiple times as the Environmental Science Member on the EPC, helping develop the city’s Eco-City charter and more. He also worked with local schools on environmental programs and is the co-chair NoVA Outside’s School Environmental Action Showcase.
