Local artists have contributed to a unique "street art" project in Old Town North.
Matt Long, Yoshiko Ratliff, and Dana Ann Scheurer designed stormwater covers that have been placed in the neighborhood streets and sidewalks.
The Old Town North Alliance spearheaded this initiative, and a ceremony revealing them all is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Montgomery Park (901 North Royal Street).
The stormwater covers "uniquely portray the vibrant, artistic culture of Old Town North," according to the OTN Alliance.
The ceremony and celebration on Saturday will include an opportunity to meet the and project team, participate in activities around Montgomery Park with the Mobile Art Lab, and enjoy light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
