Construction equipment turned the Ramsey Homes in Alexandria to a pile of rubble last week, signaling the next phase of redevelopment in that Old Town neighborhood.
The buildings were in service for more than 70 years on North Patrick Street between Pendleton and Wythe streets. New affordable housing will take its place.
