The City of Alexandria will formally recognize Noah and Josephus Lyles, former T.C. Williams (now Alexandria City High School) graduates and community ambassadors.
Noah Lyles is a track world champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist, and he will be be awarded a key to the City of Alexandria. His brother, Josephus, has also set world records in track.
Other featured speakers will include Alexandria City Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt, Alexandria City School Board Chair Meagan L. Alderton, and Alexandria City High School (ACHS) Executive Principal Peter Balas.
The recognition ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at Market Square outside City Hall.
