A Mattress Warehouse will open at the intersection of King Street and Quaker Lane in Alexandria this year, taking the place of Radio Shack, which closed in 2017.
The property at 3425 King Street is owned by Quaker Lane Properties, LLC.
According to City of Alexandria permits, the space is undergoing hundreds of thousands in interior and exterior renovations before Mattress Warehouse opens.
The closest Radio Shack locations to Alexandria are now resellers in Warrenton, Virginia and Prince Frederick, Maryland.
Mattress Warehouse has four locations in Alexandria, plus stores in Falls Church, Springfield and Arlington.
