La'Baik Del Ray, a Mediterranean restaurant, hosted a grand opening last weekend.
The Del Ray Business Association's ribbon cutting for La’Baik was Saturday.
The restaurant offers a "Mediterranean fusion of wraps, bowls and plant-based options." The menu includes falafel, lamb gyro, chicken shawarma, a variety of breakfast omelettes and more.
The new restaurant is in a familiar building — 2309 Mount Vernon Ave. was home to Stomping Ground and then Rubia's Tacos. A family owned company, Lorton-based Hay Enterprises, owns the restaurant and did minor renovations to the space.
