If that sounds like King Street in Old Town Alexandria, you're right. The roadway was named the 7th-best Main Street in America by Mixbook, which conducted a poll of 3,000 travelers to rank "the most charming main [streets] in the country."
"The results not only highlight the beauty and character of these streets but also bring well-deserved attention to the gems that many Americans may not be aware of," according to Mixbook.
