Fairfax County is asking residents for input on its strategic countywide plan.
The strategic plan is an effort to integrate several existing plans, including One Fairfax, the Economic Success Strategic Plan, the Housing Strategic Plan, Parks and Recreation Master Plan and several others. The purpose is to ensure “all efforts are aligned, coordinated and in context,” officials wrote on the county’s website.
“What does the future of Fairfax County look like to you? Fairfax County Government is beginning a strategic planning process with the community to shape the future together – and we want to hear from and include all voices,” according to the Strategic Plan website.
The survey asks residents to assess what Fairfax County does (and does not do) well, what should be a priority and what residents envision in the future.
The strategic planning process this year will result in defined priorities for 2020 and beyond, the development of performance indicators, set priorities for strategies and more.
