How are families in Alexandria dealing with news about the coronavirus?
Alexandria-based kid company Explanation Kids is launching the "Learn Together" initiative to support City leaders, teachers, and parents across Alexandria who are working hard to help the tens of thousands of students in the City of Alexandria who are dealing with anxiety, changing information, and disruption to their consistency and way of life as a result of the news of positive cases of the coronavirus in our community.
Explanation Kids is providing kid-friendly, non-partisan and fun, helpful information for kids, parents, and teachers to benefit their learning about the coronavirus and to help calm anxiety.
We are partnering with Explanation Kids to share surveys for students, teachers, parents, and youth caretakers in Alexandria, where they can share their thoughts and opinions about the changing information and changes to the way of life in Alexandria.
