Early voting for the November election is now open.
Here in the Alexandria area, there is just one race on the November ballot — a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Current Rep. Don Beyer (D) is running against Republican Karina Lipsman and Independent Teddy Fikre. More information about each candidate is available below.

You can request a ballot by mail here. The ballot can be mailed back or dropped 24/7 at the drop-box located in front of 132 N. Royal Street.

Who's Running
Beyer is serving his fourth term as the U.S. Representative for our area of Virginia. He has had a long career in politics and is active in labor issues, transportation and quality of life issues for Northern Virginia residents. Beyer lives in Alexandria.
Lipsman is an immigrant from Odesa, Ukraine, "who has lived the American Dream and is fighting to protect that Dream for ALL Northern Virginians," according to her campaign website. See her campaign video below:
