The City of Alexandria's Transportation & Environmental Services staff will be hosting a virtual town hall presentation Thursday, Oct. 15 regarding updates to the Alexandria Mobility Plan (AMP).
After that, residents will be invited to fill out an online feedback form (open from Oct. 15 through Nov. 8) before city offiicials release a full draft plan early next year.
AMP is a strategic update to the city's master transportation plan, which was last updated in 2008 — before ridesharing, scooters and HOT lanes existed in this area.
Its goals include reducing congestion, making transportation for equitable and providing more options for getting around.
