Construction is progressing on a massive mixed-use development near the Eisenhower Metro station.
200 Stovall Street, just east of Hoffman Town Center and steps from the National Science Foundation, will be the site of 520 apartments, 25,000 square feet of retail and about 250 parking spaces.
The development team, PerseusTDC and Four Points, has selected H&R Retail to broker retail space in the 635,000 sq. ft. mixed-use development.
"We plan to target restaurants, banks, specialty fitness, and unique service retailers as an amenity for the future residents of the building," said H&R Retail Principal Ray Schupp.
The project broke ground in March. The first apartment units will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2019. Construction is expected to finish in 2020.
The site was formerly a large concrete building occupied by the Federal government's General Services Administration. The building was commonly referred to as Hoffman II.
