The Alexandria area’s public outdoor pools open Memorial Day weekend, including those near Del Ray, Old Town, Gum Springs and beyond. With highs forecast in the 80s this weekend, you may want to grab a beach towel, some sunscreen and sunglasses and head to the nearest swimming pool!
Fees vary at public pools and are subject to change. For more information about special events, holiday hours, prices, season passes, private events and more, visit www.alexandriava.gov/aquatics or www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/recenter/swimming-locations.
Alexandria Residents can purchase an outdoor pool pass for 15% off until May 31. Get yours now at Chinquapin Park Recreation Center & Aquatics Facility or Charles Houston Recreation Center.
(Note: A great resource on the area's private pool clubs, some of which still have memberships available, is here on The Goodhart Group's real estate website.).
