Inova Health Systems
Inova Health Systems is asking for feedback from local residents on the proposed Inova HealthPlex in Alexandria's Oakville Triangle neighborhood.
The area of interest is southwest of the Potomac Yard Shopping Center on the west side of Richmond Highway. The area currently is largely industrial, with a number of businesses, including auto services, housed in the area's warehouses.
Stonebridge, Carras Partners and Inova Health System are working on plans to build a new Oakville Triangle HealthPlex that include an emergency room, a multi-use outpatient care center and medical offices. It will be a service of Inova Alexandria Hospital.
The Inova Healthplex will be the anchor of a planned mixed-use development in Oakville Triangle that will include residential, retail and significant enhancements to Mount Jefferson Park.
Inova Health Systems and Stonebridge are asking residents to provide feedback on the plan and related amendments by looking at the visual presentation and related materials on the project webpage and commenting. The online engagement portal will be open through Thursday, April 9, and additional engagement opportunities will be available later.
The proposed amendments are currently anticipated for review by the Planning Commission and City Council in the fall.
