Alexandria residents already suspected this, but now it's official: USA Today has named the Del Ray Halloween Parade among the best in the nation.
The 27th Annual Del Ray Halloween Parade, takes place on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue, beginning at E. Bellefonte Avenue.
The parade includes a dog costume contest, decorated stroller contest and more. The event is reportedly the brainstorm of The Dog Store founder Paul Haire.
