The real estate company Compass, which started operating in Alexandria in 2018, is opening a new office in Old Town Alexandria.
The office will be in the ground floor space at 106 N. Lee Street, expanding in ALX Community.
"ALX Community, located in Old Town Alexandria, is the home to over 80 unique businesses," explained ALX Community COO Kelly Grant. "This modern co-working space serves as a place where its members work, meet, learn, and grow. ALX Community proudly announced this week that they are expanding their footprint to the first floor which will soon be occupied by their growing member Compass, residential real estate company. What an exciting opportunity for the growth of both companies!"
Compass describes itself as a combination of a real estate brokerage and tech company. "With the solutions-driven mindset of a startup and the sophistication of a luxury brand, Compass is the future of real estate," the company notes on its website. Compass started as Urban Compass in 2012 in New York City and has expanded nationwide in the past five years.
