Recycling can be confusing. Is this cardboard recyclable? What about this plastic?
To help residents learn, the City of Alexandria's Transportation & Environmental Services department has released an online game — the Recycle Right Alexandria sorting game.
Residents can win prizes, including a composting caddie and reusable water bottle.
To enter, residents who complete all five levels of the game should a picture with their completion certificate. Then, share a picture of yourself with certificate on social media and tag #RecycleRightALX. Residents will be entered to win a composting caddie, reusable tote bag, or reusable water bottle!
Winners will be selected in late September and contacted via social media.
